Bethany Weigl is a fourth generation Austinite with a local family history of contractors, construction, and creating the ornamental steel adorning some of Austin’s most prestigious historical properties. As the first woman iron worker in the legacy of the historic Weigl Iron Works, est.1922 in Austin by her great grandfather Fortunat Weigl, and the granddaughter of baseball player/ founder of M.Z.Collins Commercial Construction Company est. 1950 in Austin, she is no stranger to the hard work, leadership, and capability necessary to implement a plan and see it through to success.
After graduating from Texas A&M University, Bethany spent many years working as an Architectural and Interior Project Manager in several of the city’s most prominent commercial architectural firms. She has lead multi-million dollar construction / development projects and completed hundreds of jobs throughout the state. Bethany is also a Board Member of the Women’s Symphony League of Austin, a long-time Volunteer with the Junior League of Austin, a Member of the Junior Austin Woman’s Club, a Bastrop County cattle rancher, and a life-long South Texas game hunter. She is also proud to be a long time resident of East Austin, and loves biking to the office as often as possible.
Bethany is prepared to assist clients with Commercial, Residential, and Farm and Ranch investment projects extending from East Austin, Bastrop County, San Antonio, Central and South Texas, to the Coastal Regions… as well as development, design, and renovation management.
